Abnormal Status Icons
Paralysis: Cannot move due to numbness.
Poison: Character receives incremental damage.
Silence: Cannot use Magics or Skills.
Confusion: Attack target changes.
A character will automatically recover from abnormal status in battle after a certain number of turns.
Rage/Weak Status
An enemy can become enraged when attacked or when one of their companions is defeated in battle. When this happens, the skills they attack with can change. Attacking an enemy in rage status with a weak status will return them to normal. The same is true vice versa.
Rage
Rage status causes damage dealt and speed to increase, but damage received also increases, and normal attacks cannot be avoided during this time. In addition, all normal attacks received will be countered and after a specific number of turns, rage status will automatically become weak status.
Weak
Weak status causes damage dealt and speed to decrease, but since the character does not move much, a specific number of HP will be restored each turn. In addition, normal attacks cannot be avoided nor can cooperative attacks be participated in. Other effects include ignored turns due to lack of motivation.
Float
When having a float status, a feather icon will appear next to the character's face and the effects of certain skills will change. Physical damage received from non-floating characters will also decrease, but damage from firearms will not. While on the field screen, a character with float status will receive no damage from spiked or other damage-causing floor tiles, but after walking a certain number of steps, its effects will wear off.
Status Up/Down
If a character is hit with a status reducing attack while their status is raised, it will return their status to normal. The same is true in the opposite situation.
