Infinite Dunamis Help - Magic

WP (Work Points)
These are the experience for magic received after battle. The stronger the enemies the party defeats, the more of these they will receive.

Elementals
For magic, there are 4 elementals: Water, Fire, Wind and Thunder. In addition to magic, enemies and even some items are elementally based. Things not classified by elemental are listed as "Void". The strengths and weaknesses of each elemental are listed in the example below.

Water > Fire > Wind > Thunder > Water

Using the same elemental against itself will also result in damage being halved.

Magic Growth
WP gained from battles causes magic to level up, and after a specific level is reached, new magic is learned. However, learned magic can only be used when the elemental is the same.

Magic elementals a character can use may only be leveled up to that of the equipment being used. Once that limit is reached, it is best to continue on with the story.

Special Magic
When both Water and Thunder have reached level16, the recovery skill "Cluster Heal" is learned. There are various other types of combinations and these special magic spells can be used regardless of elemental.
